Former New Republic editor Jonathan Chait is is the latest liberal to criticize the indictment of Texas Gov. Rick Perry. Chait is certainly no Rick Perry fan, but he knows a bullcrap indictment when he sees one:
To describe the indictment as “frivolous” gives it far more credence than it deserves. Perry may not be much smarter than a ham sandwich, but he is exactly as guilty as one.
