Yesterday, columnist Amanda Marcotte posted a sober, very careful analysis of the illegal alien crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Just kidding! Here, look for yourself:

Her argument is that hard-right Christian conservatives and their lackeys like Mitt Romney oppose some treaty because they love to spank their children — and that’s why illegal alien youths from Central America aren’t being given the taxpayer-funded legal representation that they so clearly deserve. If only members of the “very powerful Christian Right” would get over their silly concern about parental rights, we’d ratify the treaty and all those angelic little illegal alien children would “be given legal counsel for their immigration hearings.” The result: total awesomeness.
No, it doesn’t make sense to us either.
You are a lunatic > RT @AmandaMarcotte Conservative fondness for spanking may have perversely contributed to the child migrant crisis.
