Mo Farah, the phenomenal distance runner from Great Britain, stepped into the Israel-Palestine conflict by tweeting the #FreePalestine hashtag earlier today.
A photo he posted to Instagram — one of the best thing he has ever seen, he claims — shows Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo posing with other Palestintian sympathizers.
It’s not the first time he has expressed sympathy for Palestinians:
So sad what's happening in Gaza… Too many people dying… We need peace…!!

Last month, he retweeted these grim photos of dead kids purportedly from Gaza:
It turns out, however, that some of the children were Syrian, not Palestinian.
@all1dcrew @Mo_Farah Those "Gaza" pictures are actually from Syria. But don't let that stop you http://t.co/Oapp75AuhS

A search of Farah’s Twitter feed for “Syria” comes up empty. Some dead kids matter more than others, apparently.
