Shock jock Anthony Cumia, co-host of “Opie and Anthony” on SiriusXM, has been fired for a controversial Twitter rant, according to a tweet he posted earlier this morning.

Earlier this week, Cumia claimed he had been punched by a woman in Times Square. The woman allegedly objected to being photographed by Cumia. After the incident, Cumia posted a number of angry, profane tweets, which were highlighted by Gawker and other prominent news outlets. A sampling:
