So many kids being shot dead, or shooting others dead, in 'gun accidents'. When will ANYONE in America do ANYTHING about it?

Former CNN host Piers Morgan calls attention to a story about a two-year old boy who was accidentally shot by his three-year old sister. It’s a sad story, no question. But the number of young children accidentally killed by guns is tiny compared to the number who drown in swimming pools or are killed in car accidents.
If the risk of accidental child shootings justifies new government restrictions on guns, why isn’t Morgan also calling for stiffer regulation of swimming pools?
