ESPN sportswriter Chris Broussard isn’t one to shy away from controversy. Today he is calling on black people to stop calling each other the N-word.
Kill the noise about "hiphop" popularizing the n-word among blacks. Blacks been calling each other that since slavery. Time 4 something new

Someone's blacks use it as term of endearment & sometimes as term of hatred. It's used in all sorts of ways by us, not just endearment

It's def diff when blacks call each other n-word. True. just sad that a people so creative can't think of a better way to address 1another.

If nothing else, respect 4 our elders who hate the word, 4 the ones lynched while hearing that word, should stop us from using it.

At least one Twitter user wasn’t interested in hearing it.

Wow, she really doesn’t like him! Okay, she’s entitled to her opinion, but we hope Broussard will keep speaking up.
