Because of his disregard for property rights, donations to Democrats, and strong support for President Obama in 2008, Donald Trump doesn’t have much cred with grassroots conservatives.
But in the wake of his controversial appearance at CPAC, he seems to have won over at least one influential conservative ally in the form of talk radio star Dana Loesch.
.@DLoesch played great audio from my @CPACnews press conference on her radio show. Glad she made it!

That tweet was retweeted by Loesch:
Loesch was one of the few people who attended Trump’s CPAC press conference.
Her husband, Chris, was there too, and was impressed by Trump’s performance:
At the presser with @realDonaldTrump he is very sharp this morning. @DLoesch gearing up for a question. pic.twitter.com/6tDqLo7zOS

As for the great ratings of Trump’s show, well…
@realDonaldTrump @DLoesch Umm…not true. The Apprentice is no longer a top rated show. In fact, it's doing terrible in the ratings.

Friends will just have to agree to disagree on this one. Twitchy founder/CEO Michelle Malkin takes a different view.
Here's something about @realDonaldTrump: He supports Kelo, cheered socialized medicine, smeared "my past" & called me a dummy. #phony

Still waiting for coward @realDonaldTrump to tell me what in my "past" I should be ashamed of. #SmearMerchant
