Thirteen years ago today, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold coldly murdered 12 of their Columbine High School classmates and a teacher. As journalist Dave Cullen documented in his gripping book, Columbine,  the killers weren’t part of the Trench Coat Mafia, weren’t bullied, and didn’t target jocks or any other group. According to Cullen’s book, Harris was a homicidal bully, whereas Klebold was self-loathing and suicidal. Yet the myths live on, and in some misguided and disturbing corners of the Twittersphere, Harris and Klebold are celebrated:
