As Twitchy noted on Wednesday morning, Facebook deleted hunting photos posted by 19-year-old Kendall Jones, but insisted that the “Kill Kendall Jones” page did not violate the social network’s Community Standards and would not be removed. That page included the same photos Jones was banned from posting.
After a flood of complaints and negative press, Facebook revised its decision.
On Wednesday, a Facebook rep appeared baffled by the suggestion that there were “credible threats of violence.” On a page titled “Kill Kendall Jones.”
Hours later, the page targeting the big game hunter was gone and notifications were sent to the Facebook users who reported the page.
