What is it that “House of Cards” actress Kate Mara thinks “just happened”?

She seems awfully excited about an Organizing for Action tweet. HOC creator Beau Willimon and actress Constance Zimmer are pretty pumped, too.

Sorry, guys, that’s not Barack Obama.

We’ll give them a pass for not realizing that tweet came from OFA, the “independent” group that took over the @BarackObama Twitter account.

For a year, Twitchy has reported on OFA’s use of the @BarackObama handle. For some reason, the “independent” organization still includes “Tweets from the President are signed -bo” in its Twitter bio. But there’s no “-bo” at the end of that tweet.

The “real” journalists at the Associated Press haven’t quite figured that out yet. Reading is hard, apparently. Pitiful:

Here’s a screenshot of the AP headline as it appears at Politico:

The article kicks off with this gem:

President Barack Obama’s latest playful executive order is a tweeted effort to limit “House of Cards” plot spoilers.

Playful. Executive. Order.

The article also quotes giddy reactions to the “Obama” tweet from HOC cast members Kate Mara and Robin Wright. Apparently the OFA tweet made quite the splash at the premiere.

Come on, guys. You’ve had a year to figure this out.

Yes. Stop it.
