Thousands are gathered in Washington, D.C., today for an Al Sharpton-organized rally and march. As the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech draws near, they’re descending on the National Mall to “turn the heat up on voter rights, on jobs and on justice.”
But Rev. Jesse Jackson had a bit of ice-cold water tossed on him while he was turning up that heat.
See ya! Just like the other speakers, Jackson was limited to two minutes. Evidently, running long is “frowned upon.”
That time limit seems pretty equal to us, but some weren’t thrilled with the mic-cut.
