During testimony before a House Judiciary panel Thursday, Robert Mueller revealed he didn’t know what a “BOLO list” was. Did we mention he’s the director of the FBI?

Once Rep. Steve Chabot explained that the IRS had been using a “be on the lookout” list to flag pesky patriots, Mueller went with the “Ohhhh, that kind of BOLO” excuse. He totally knew what BOLO meant in a law enforcement context, but couldn’t quite make the jump to the IRS scandal. Video here:
