Like paragon of reason Michael Moore, CNN’s Howard Kurtz is all wee-wee’d up about Glenn Beck’s “Obama in Pee Pee” art. Who else, he asks, would submerge something in a jar of fake urine and call it art?
Evidently Kurtz has misplaced his thinking cap. Again. Sometimes he’s a little slow on the uptake.
Of course, unlike “Piss Christ” artist Andres Serrano, Beck didn’t use real urine. And he didn’t seek NEA funding either.
Meanwhile, the liberal artist who depicted President Obama as a Christlike figure adorned with a crown of thorns managed to have a reasonable discussion with Beck. How ’bout that?
Beck may not have “elevated discourse” to Kurtz’s satisfaction, but he is working to elevate those in need this holiday season. His auction of “Obama in Pee Pee” was pulled by eBay, so he’s taking bids via email.
