Too soon? Many Twitter users of all political stripes thought Ann Coulter’s tweet about party-hopper Arlen Specter switching “to the Dead Party” was a little much in the hours immediately following his death Sunday.
But maybe — just maybe — the moral high road isn’t paved with death wishes and gender-based, curse-laden insults. Try telling that to the civility cops who hoped Ann Coulter would hurry up and join Specter.
