This morning Twitchy reported that ever-trustworthy “Republican sources” told ABC News Sen. Marco Rubio was not being vetted by Mitt Romney’s vice presidential search committee.
At a campaign stop in Holland, Mich., Romney told the media the story was, to use the technical term, a steaming pile of bull poop.
Romney calls the report Rubio wasn't being vetted "entirely false", says people talking "know nothing" about veep selection process"

Reactions to the news are mixed so far:
But odds are, Romney WASN'T picking Rubio. Now he's bowing to GOP pressure. Means he has ground to make up w/ his base.

My theory on Rubio: Romney leaked it intentionally so if he does pick Rubio, he can own the pick. Outsiders would take credit for decision

Choose Rubio, Mitt! Mexican-Americans would self-deport before they'd miss an opportunity to vote for you & a rich Cuban-American "refugee"

A Romney/Rubio ticket is a humdinger
