Race-baiting background music in Obama's new campaign video?

Jim Geraghty expanded on this idea at The Campaign Spot:

Take a listen to the background music in this ad: lots of harps and chimes. Discussions of “vampires, sucking the life out of us.” We know Obama loves to go after Romney on “outsourcing jobs to China.”

Considering how the ad is blatantly aimed at blue-collar industrial workers, who worry about cheap foreign labor stealing their jobs, is there some not-so-subtle race-baiting going on in it?

What do you think? Are the harps and chimes an Obama campaign dog whistle (not to be confused with a dinner bell)? Or is the choice of music innocuous?

One thing’s certain: if this ad was released by a Republican candidate, the Left would be howling about dog whistle politics.
