Mark Ruffalo, who played The Hulk/Bruce Banner in the Avengers, says he looked into the faces of his children and the kids who supported the Avengers movies and determined that they deserve the Green New Deal.
When I look in the faces of my children and the thousands of children I have come into contact with the Avengers, I can’t help but feel that bold plans like this are what they are owed in the face of what is coming. https://t.co/lKdhUFTXzS

Here’s why he wants to punish the children of America.
We need a plan and we need action. We are running out of time. This kind of plan creates jobs and a world that makes those jobs meaningful.

He continued with this false hypothetical equivalent.
If the threat we were facing with #ClimateChange was coming from another country, we would not blink twice at trillions of dollars for a military response that uses violence, bloodshed, and displacement as a solution.

Though the doomsday prognostications are all over the map and there is wide dispute about fundamental aspects of climate change, Ruffalo calls on Americans to be “honest with ourselves” and mobilize like we’re going to war.
We must be honest with ourselves about these realities. #ClimateChange is real, massive, and deserves a kind of peaceful mobilization on par with one that we would mount against an offending nation.

This comes after he shared an article last month saying we have only 18 months (now 17?) to save the planet from unmitigated disaster.

Perhaps someone should remind Ruffalo that he is no longer getting paid to portray a fictional scientist.
