According to a recent Gallup survey, the approval numbers for President Donald Trump are at an 11-month high.

The poll reflects that 42 percent of Americans currently approve of the way the president is doing his job, which is a four-point increase from 38 percent the week before.

This certainly does not mean that the road is paved for Republicans at the ballot box this fall. However, perhaps more importantly, it also does not mean that impending doom at the hands of a “blue wave” is going to assuredly befall them either.

On the other hand, if that is going to be the strategy for Democrats, Republicans might pick up seats in droves.
