NFL commissioner Roger Goodell sent a letter to the 32 teams in the league Tuesday saying that “everyone should stand” for the national anthem. Predictably, there is a lot of pushback from the Left. How dare a private organization require its employees to stand for the national anthem! One of those not happy is former Obama advisor Ben Rhodes.
Maybe they can try the NFL without players and just see if people come to watch wealthy owners and Goodell every Sunday. https://t.co/BOltbkaTrd

In the first place, the vast majority of NFL players stood for the anthem. It doesn’t look like the league will be “without players” in the near future. But the more important point is the whole reason the league is having to issue this memo is a result of viewers turning the games off BECAUSE of the protests.

LOL. You really think NFL players will give up their careers and millions over the anthem?
