And Conservatives are supposed to be the extremists? In the midst of what is sure to be a punishing heat wave in the Northeast, workers at New York’s energy supplier are threatening to strike.
From NBC New York:
Con Edison and its workers are in the middle of contract negotiations, with the current contract for Local 1-2 of the Utility Workers of America expiring at midnight Saturday.
If an agreement is not met between now and the expiration date, it’s presumably tough noodles for the many Con Edison customers who will be enduring the heat wave.
Con Edison is threatening to strike by midnight tonight if deal is not reached..OH OH there goes the NY power outage

It’s a good thing unions are always looking out for the general public.
