Um, does Nikki Haley see this issue with this tweet? The only way “Bernie Sanders becomes budget chair” is if the two runoff Senate races in Georgia are won by Dems AND if Joe Biden is President with Vice President Kamala Harris as the 50/50 tiebreaker:
One of many reasons these Georgia races matter is that if the Dems gain control, Bernie Sanders becomes budget chair. He has said he wants to slash military budgets and called for $97 trillion more in federal spending. Georgia, we are counting on you! #SayNoToBernie

Journos sure have noticed it:
? Nikki Haley also implicitly acknowledging that Trump has lost and VP-elect Kamala Harris will be a tiebreaker if Dems win back both GA senate races https://t.co/93Q2vhmFbH

We’ll note that Mitch McConnell said something similar earlier this week:

Even McConnell has said the same thing!
"I'm not certain I'm the majority leader yet. As you all may have noticed, that will be determined in Georgia" https://t.co/RGHlzrc83w

And RNC chair Ronna McDaniel deleted a tweet yesterday where she said the runoff races were important because of “Deciding Vote Kamala Harris”:
