Sen. Ted Cruz told Hugh Hewitt this morning that he’s “had multiple conversations over the past week with the President, with the WH, Jared. And one of the things that I have urged them is that they need to bring in significant additional legal firepower, that a battle like this takes some serious legal horses.”

In short, President Trump is attempting what Hewitt calls the “judicial equivalent of jury nullification in a criminal case” and that’s going to be a tough lift, for any legal team:

In Pennsylvania, President Trump’s current legal team isn’t even alleging any fraud “at present”:

And in Georgia, President Trump’s lawyers are also “defending the integrity of the state’s voting system in an ongoing lawsuit”:
