For the Dems cheering on Amb. Gordon Sondland’s testimony in the hope that it will finally sink President Donald Trump, maybe this missed the part where he said, “I’ve never heard from President Trump that the aid was conditioned on the investigations”?
From Rep. Mark Meadows:
The most important quote out of this hearing so far:
Sondland: "I've never heard from President Trump that the aid was conditioned on the investigations." He reached this conclusion on his own.
So, in short, yet another witness who can't testify to the Democrats' accusations.

With video!
Gordon Sondland was clear: "I've never heard from President Trump that the aid (to Ukraine) was conditioned on the investigations."
So what did @realDonaldTrump say when Sondland DID talk to him?

More from Rep. Andy Biggs:
SONDLAND testifies that the President told him that he doesn't want anything, no quid pro quo. President Trump only wanted Sondland to tell President Zelensky to do the right thing.
And President Trump wanted to make sure that Zelensky was committed to rooting out corruption.

“Through Giuliani, we were led to believe this is what [the President] wanted” referring to investigations. Sondland never heard it from the President.

Things are getting any better for Dems now that Republicans are asking questions:
Castor: Did Trump ever tell you about "any preconditions for anything" (aid, White House meeting)?
Sondland: "No."

Republicans shooting at heart of where they believe Dem argument is vulnerable. Sondland never heard Trump describe a quid pro quo.
Q: Did POTUS ever tell you "personally" about any preconditions for aid to be released? For a White House meeting?
Sondland:"No…personally no."
