Guys, it’s time to start paying attention to what’s going on inside Iran as protests which the government says are just about increased gasoline prices have entered their third day:

It really sounds like it’s about more than fuel prices:
On this 3rd day of #IranProtests, these are the streets of Shiraz, a major Iranian city.
Ordinary people are braving the brutal pro-regime forces to chant no to dictatorship.

Protesters have been clashing with regime forces:

But they’re reportedly shooting at people from helicopters:

Protests started over the government increasing fuel prices throughout Iran:

But as we wrote above, it’s about much more than that now:
Remember: The #IranProtests aren’t just about gasoline prices.
“We don’t want an Islamic Republic, we don’t want it, we don’t want it,” demonstrators chanted in the middle-class Tehranpars neighborhood of Tehran. https://t.co/pJXzyKf1qt

Right now, the internet is being blocked in Iran:

Time to help:
Now would be a good time for @Google, @facebook, @Apple, @Twitter, @instagram, @nokia and @ericsson to help the people of Iran. https://t.co/YNDkJzVx51

And the U.S. government is reportedly looking at alternatives as well:
