Hurricane Dorian basically remained stationary overnight and is still pummeling Grand Bahama Island this morning:

The storm has weakened somewhat, but these conditions are still catastrophic for the island:

The Red Cross estimates that 13,000 homes have been destroyed or damaged so far by the storm:

And the U.S. Coast Guard is already making rescues:

They were taking patients from a hospital in Marsh Harbour on Abaco Island to Nassau:

The devastation to Abaco Island is shocking to see:

Grand Bahama Island, to the west of Abaco, was not spared as well:
