In an interview with NPR’s Georgia affiliate on Wednesday, Georgia Republican Sen. Johnny Isakson accidentally referred to Texas Dem and 2020 presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke as “Bevo”:
.@SenatorIsakson first calls Beto O'Rourke "Bevo" by accident and I literally laughed out loud.

This is funny because “Bevo” is the name of the Texas Longhorns’ mascot:
Sen. Isakson just called Beto O'Rourke "Bevo" (that's the Texas mascot's name) and that's my favorite accidental mixup of his name. #gapol

This is Bevo:
Who has 2️⃣ horns and is headed to @TexasBaseball 🆚 LSU tomorrow?

“Bevo, Beto whatever. The cow’s Bevo,” said the senator:
Sen. Isakson: "What's his name… Bevo? The guy in Texas?"@PoliticsGPB panel: "Beto, Beto O'Rourke"

Maybe Sen. Isakson is still mad that Bevo tried to kill Uga, the University of Georgia’s mascot, at this year’s Sugar Bowl?
