The shooter responsible for 12 deaths at the Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks, CA last night has been identified as Marine Corps veteran Ian David Long:

According to the local ABC News affiliate, Long’s neighbors say he suffered from PTSD and questioned “what he was doing with a gun”:

The Ventura County Sheriff says Long bought the weapon legally:
