“The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah is under fire for an old joke — AGAIN! — this time about Aboriginal women as he heads to Australia on tour:
— CNN Africa (@CNNAfrica) July 23, 2018
The clip has since been pulled from YouTube, but CNN has the transcript:
“All women of every race can be beautiful,” the host of the Daily Show said. “And I know some of you are sitting there now going, ‘Oh Trevor … I’ve never seen a beautiful Aborigine’ But you know what you say? You say, ‘Yet.’ Because you haven’t seen all of them, right?”
“Plus it’s not always about looks, maybe Aborigine women do special things, maybe they’ll just like, jump on top of you,” he said, before making a suggestive gesture.
That suggestive gesture was a simulation of oral sex:
"Dear @Trevornoah: The value of our female leaders’ mouths, is that they speak on behalf and for the benefit of our people, not the sexually explicit function you portrayed," writes @OnTopicAus https://t.co/oaHS0N26ZX

Noah has since “vowed never to make a joke like that again”:
@joewilliams_tew you're right. After visiting Australia's Bunjilaka museum and learning about aboriginal history first hand I vowed never to make a joke like that again. And I haven't. I'll make sure the clip from 2013 is not promoted in any way.

And he’s open to visiting Aboriginal communities on his upcoming tour of Australia:
I'd love to visit another community in Oz Joe. Always open to learning more ??

Piers Morgan notes that Noah has yet to address the controversy on his show, however, after “hounding” ABC to take action on Roseanne Barr:
So @Trevornoah didn't address the Aboriginal furore on his show last night & still hasn't apologised for what he said.
Reminder: he helped hound Roseanne out of her job recently for making a similar racist 'joke'.
Why is he getting a pass?

But none of this is anything new for Twitchy readers. Remember this tweet we caught before Noah deleted it back in 2015 when he was just named host of “The Daily Show”?
— Greg Pollowitz (@GPollowitz) April 1, 2015
Noah tweeted at the time that these tweets were “not a true reflection of my character, nor my evolution as a comedian”:
To reduce my views to a handful of jokes that didn’t land is not a true reflection of my character, nor my evolution as a comedian.
