Last week, libs were giddy at the news that billionaire Michael Bloomberg pledged $80 million to help elect Democrats and end Republican control of the House of Representatives:

But there were some concerns if the Democratic party is really the party of Bloomberg or is it the party of socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez:
The Democratic Party needs to decide if it’s the party of @MikeBloomberg or the party of @Ocasio2018. For those of us that don’t want to see a second trump term, let’s hope they decide to be the party of Bloomberg. https://t.co/aSaD9xQ7z6

The former mayor of New York City quickly answered that question when he headlined a fundraiser for Republican Peter King:

HAHAHA! It’s almost the $80 million is being used to buy fake goodwill from Dems ahead of a potential presidential run:
Well, this answers the "Are you for the party of @MikeBloomberg or the party of @Ocasio2018?" question for me. Pretty definitively, at that. https://t.co/Vq68flU9lX

Yes, the future of the Democratic Party *checks notes* is a billionaire who fundraises for Republicans https://t.co/4J27L6yDOZ

well that whole "Dems need to be the party of Michael Bloomberg" take aged about as well as the Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino https://t.co/2DTfyICVkE

Pat Toomey, Rick Snyder – just two of the Republicans that Bloomberg helped elect in previous cycles. We'd have the Senate and Flint may have gotten needed help without Bloomberg. https://t.co/tMcalgcuGQ

My take — helping incumbent republicans win re-election is not a good way to help Democrats win a House majority. https://t.co/H4TQnCLDVX
