The official Twitter account for the DNC was forced to delete a congratulatory tweet aimed at Texas Democrat Gina Ortiz Jones after it mistakenly referred to her as a “Latina”:
My favorite thing about @TheDemocrats is when they congratulated Gina Ortiz last night.
Once they realized she is not a Latina they deleted this gem.

Ms. Oritz Jones, a veteran of the Iraq war, is “Filipina-American.” Whoops:
Gina Ortiz Jones, a Filipina-American and former Air Force intelligence officer, prevailed in Tuesday's Democratic primary runoff against Rick Trevino. She will face incumbent Republican U.S. Rep. Will Hurd in November. https://t.co/erbRo0PiTf

Here’s the correction:
The future is female! Congratulations @ginaortizjones and @texasdemocrats. ?? Onward to November! pic.twitter.com/QceKIm7VQp

And FWIW, Clinton won the district in 2016:
The AP has called #TX23 Dem primary for Gina Ortiz Jones, whom Daily Kos is proudly supporting. Will face GOP Rep. Will Hurd in 50-46 Clinton seat; would be first out member of TX delegation https://t.co/cmLykjxY1C
