Breaking news out of Wanstead, UK (a suburb of London) where we’re seeing reports that a women who worked in a nursery was slashed by “3 Asian women dressed in black” who shouted, “Allah” during the attack:

The woman was treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital. Her boss at the nursery, Karrien Stevens, confirmed to the media that the victim said the 3 women shouted “Allah” during the attack:

Ms Stevens said the victim told her the assailants then shouted: “Allah, Allah.”

Some schools in the area are reportedly closed and the Counter Terror Command has been made aware of the attack, although they are not investigating it as a terror attack at present:

Now obviously these are early reports and things change, but one thing we’ve noticed is that the BBC, which is also quoting Stevens from the nursery, left out the “Allah” part in its report:

Nursery manager Karrien Stevens said the woman told her she was slashed by three Asian women dressed in black.

Counter-terrorism police have been informed but are not treating it as a terrorist incident.
Ms Stevens, who runs Little Diamonds nursery in Hermon Hill, said the woman was slashed while on her way to work from Wanstead High Street.

The attackers slashed her arm from the wrist upwards before running off down the street, she said.

We’ll keep you posted as soon as we learn more, because one of these versions is not right.

Update. Check out this video from the BBC with Stevens. Did they edit out “Allah”?! It’s at the 17 second mark:

We have questions, to say the least:

Maybe so…
