Seriously, did people learn nothing at all from Democrats' mistakes promoting Obamacare? https://t.co/2cSndmwVyH

In 2013, PolitFact named former President Obama’s totally BS statement that “if you like your health care plan, you can keep it” as its “Lie of the Year.”
And apparently House Republicans are going to use the same lie in an effort to sell the AHCA to the public. Here’s Rep. Pete Sessions from this morning on CNN (Also check out Chris Cuomo’s face when Sessions says it):
Republican Pete Sessions just literally said "Nobody is going to lose their coverage, you'll be able to keep your same doctor," "same plan." pic.twitter.com/nn0f4dFloc

Sen. Kamal Harris from California quickly weighed in, declaring the statement “completely false.”
This is completely false. https://t.co/qMrc0vOSjL

And Former Hillary Clinton staffers Lily Adams and Jesse Ferguson think it’s a lie, too:
We should call these things what they are: lies. https://t.co/Ho1g7H6ASV

SIREN
GOP Chair of Rules Committee (voting today) just said
"NOBODY IS GOING TO LOSE THEIR COVERAGE"
Apparently the 24M aren't people? https://t.co/9kSyAOfGY3

Sheesh. Where was this level of fact-checkery when Obama was saying it or when Clinton was defending Obamacare during the campaign
Sessions went on to admit that the AHCA is not sold to voters yet:
Rep. Pete Sessions concedes on @NewDay that GOP has not properly sold health care bill to voters. "It has not been sold properly to them."
