You see, it doesn’t matter that Rachel Maddow’s big “scoop” Tuesday night was a big “nothingburger.” According to Sally Kohn, Madow still earned “serious kudos” for “hyping” the story:
This return, in isolation, is nothingburger BUT serious kudos to @maddow for hyping story to refocus attention on unanswered questions!

Well, that’s one way to spin it:

To recap, Maddow spent 20 minutes “hyping” theories without any evidence that Trump has ties to Russian oligarchs, and then — after a commercial break — unleashed the nothingburger:
Am I missing something or does this tax return not speak to anything re Russia, Azerbaijan or any extant foreign-based concern re Trump?

Dizzy and it’s time to give it up:
Just give it up. Y'all really lost tonight, hilariously. At least you tried. ⭐️ https://t.co/btgh0oLTQ1
