It’s come to this. Former Ambassador Susan Rice compared the Trump administration to Sudanese dictator Omar al-Bashir over a now viral clip of State Department handlers ushering MSNBC reporter Andrea Mitchell out of photo-op between Secretary Rex Tillerson and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin:

According to the pool report, it was a “30 second” photo-op. So, why did Mitchell think she’d be able to ask questions?

Although many reporters on Twitter backed Mitchell, there are at least some out there who called her out for “showboating”:

It looks like Mitchell crashed a photo-op and not a press availability, right?
