@DebraMessing Debra Messing's To Do List:
1. Advocate for refugees living in horrific circumstances
2. Shamelessly shill for expensive jewelry.

If The Onion were to do an article on how Hollywood’s elite are dealing with their anger of President Donald Trump and his policies, would it be any different than this real life example from Debra Messing?
Here she is literally bragging about buying a “diamond and silver necklace” to cheer herself up:

So, this week made me angry and depressed. You all know, the thing that perks me up the most is wearable art. I saw this diamond and silver necklace from @nanfusco and just jumped. No regrets. It's even more special in person. Nothing like some distraction…#jewelrylove I know the world is in dire straits right now- I have committed myself full time to doing what I can to advocate and support those most in need and most vulnerable to these changing policies. I needed to step away for 10 mins to look at something beautiful to cleanse the anxiety. This is my post, this is my life. If you don't like my post, just unfollow. No judgement either way. That's what I'm looking for. I wish you well.
Talk about living in a bubble! Unfortunately for the liberal actress, her followers don’t really agree with her retail therapy:
@DebraMessing sorry Debra I follow you but who gives a shit about your new necklace !? There are people displaced and suffering!

@DebraMessing inappropriate at this time to infomercial yourself

@DebraMessing Happy for you, but MOST of us can't afford. We just have to be sad and depressed and worried about our small, nonrich lives!!

They’re truly clueless.
