Can he do this?
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is using his official mayoral account (and not his personal account) to pimp an upcoming protest march outside of the Trump International Hotel at Columbus Circle on January 19 to launch “100 days of action” against President Trump:
I'm rallying at Trump Int’l Hotel at 6PM on Jan. 19 because our next president needs to hear from all NYers before he takes office. Join us.

Let's begin 100 days of action for our values. As Lincoln once said, here in NYC, let us have faith that RIGHT makes MIGHT.

This is New York. Nothing about who we are changed on Election Day. Let's get to work. January 19th. Columbus Circle. Be there.

Our next president must remember that thousands of NYers' lives rely on the ACA. That's a message I'll bring to Trump Int’l Hotel Jan. 19th.

It also looks like he’s added the “NYC” logo to this poster promoting the event:
Join me on 1/19 at Columbus Circle to remind our next president of his hometown's values & continue the work of solving America's problems. pic.twitter.com/7O3j2oLvsP

In other words, the Mayor of New York City is officially sanctioning — and from the looks of it, using taxpayer resources — to promote this event?
Also attending the march are Michael Moore, Marc Ruffalo and Alec Baldwin, among others:
Mark Ruffalo, Alec Baldwin & myself will be holding a massive rally in NYC in front of Trump International Hotel this Thursday, 6pm! Come!
