Libs are pretty excited over this meaningless stat now that the popular vote has been counted in all 50 states…
This looks to be the final 2016 popular vote: Clinton led by 2.864 million votes; 2.1 percentage point lead.

…will Hillary super-fan Eric Boehlert using Clinton’s popular-vote win to go after pundits and anyone else who dares suggest that the Democratic party is in disarray:
better blow up Dem Party!….it's only won 6 of last 7 WH popular votes. https://t.co/EdwzeJFjD2

And here’s CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski with a truth-bomb Boehlert and his ilk: “Republicans control presidency, Senate, House, majority of governorships and state legislatures. Sure all is fine.”

The truth hurts, Eric?
Others jumped on as well:
DID YOU KNOW: Getting seven shades of shit kicked out of you at every other level in politics is Fine, Actually. https://t.co/VI5vp1xGk8

How many gubernatorial losses in that time? How many state legislatures lost?
Funny you want to stick to Pres Pop Vote. (not funny) https://t.co/F6faLqsjmM

Dems should be asking themselves, “How come after winning the popular vote in 6 out of the last 7 elections, Republicans still control the presidency, Senate, House, majority of governorships and state legislatures?” The answer might be, “stop listening to Eric Boehlert.”
