With one week to go until Paul Ryan’s primary election against businesmann Paul Nehlen, the Speaker of the House has a new ad up that sounds remarably similary to the message of GOP nominee Donald Trump.
In the ad titled “A Safe America,” Ryan warns of the risk of terror attacks in America and ends with him saying he’s “committed to securing our borders.”

So the guy who trolled Donald Trump over his border wall in the past ends his ad with a border wall???
Hmm…
Is Ryan worried? Donald Trump did give a Twitter shout-out to Nehlen on Monday…
Thanks to @pnehlen for your kind words, very much appreciated.

…but, according to polls, Ryan is way ahead:
Fortunately for Ryan, he's ahead 69% to 20% https://t.co/099cn0cRPn

And Trump is not popular in the district:
@WatsonDanielLLC @NolteNC Trump got annihilated in Ryan's district

So, if that’s the case, what’s with Ryan’s Trump-esque ad then?
