More’s comments came in response to the panel thinking Republicans chanting “lock her up” about Hillary Clinton was over the top:
“It might have sound crazy to us, but to millions and millions of Americans, this was music to their ears. I think one of things I’ve been concerned about this week is that we … have been sitting in our bubble, having a good laugh at this total s** show. But the truth is that this plays to a lot of people that he has to win to become the next president.”
Moore’s comments start at the 1:30 mark and stick around for the moan from Maher’s liberal audience at the end.
