WATCH: Baylor professor holds a Marine's fussy baby during class

Finally, a good story to come out of academia.

Meet Katy Humphrey. She’s a former Marine and currently a “full-time mother, a full-time college student and a full-time wife” enrolled at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Katy’s babysitter cancelled on her at the last minute, forcing her to bring her baby —  four-month-old Millie —  to class with her and hope the infant wouldn’t cause too many problems.

Well, Millie did start to fuss. But rather than kick Katy out of class, the professor — Dr. Darryn Willoughby — grabbed Millie and proceeded to carry the infant around with him for the rest of the lecture.

Here’s the report from KWTX TV:

Dr. Willoughby told KWTX, “Taking care of others in a time of need and when it is not a time of need, just loving and caring about others—that’s God’s purpose.”

Well said!
