David Axelrod forced to apologize for misquoting @RealDonaldTrump

Earlier today, former Obama hack David Axelrod tweeted to his supporters that Donald Trump would be “thrilled” if he came in “second or third” in New Hampshire, making it sound like Trump was lowering expectation ahead of Tuesday’s primary. Except, that’s not what Trump said.

First up, here’s what Axelrod wrote:

Now for what he really said. Axelrod left off the second half of the quote where Trump specifically tells CNN’s Dana Bash that he “wouldn’t be happy” finishing second:
