He’ll be toast when? Will Trump’s supporters suddenly vote for Democrats in the mid-term elections to punish Trump? Will they have long enough memories to vote him out after his first term? If so, what sort of damage would Trump do to the country in the meantime in regard to the issues of Judicial nominations, executive orders, and government regulations that he hasn’t given any specifics on since the start of this adulation? Trump is the same blank canvas that Obama was in ’08, and none of his supporters can provide evidence that proves Trump is any type of a conservative or will even govern from the right. And that should be enough to sink his campaign, but he’s a cult of personality, and as such, as dangerous as our current man-child living in the White House.

    • Kate

A cult of personality with a media that is happy to build him up during the primaries….it’s a dangerous combination.

Oh wait, you’re right. Much better to fall for believe in the @TheRealFAKETrump & his knight-in-shining armor act against the myhtical boogeyman “GOPe (YAWn)”.

  • Kate

If the general election comes down to Trump vs. Hillary, I’m avoiding political news until 2017.

Can you imagine the coverage? The media will fawn all over Hillary and devote themselves to portraying Trump, and therefore the entire GOP, as a party full of white supremacists and neo-Nazis. It will be unbearable, and a complete PR nightmare for conservatives everywhere.

That is why I will never vote for Trump. I’m not going to actively participate in the suicide of my own party.

    • Penny✓ItsSoFluffy! #GoBolts!

I can see that. Ugh… We will have to rip out the cable box and become hermits.

    • Jean Pennie

Kate, I share the exact same feelings as you. I have not ever voted for a liberal and don’t intend to start now. I love politics, but I will shut them out of my life and take up new hobbies if this goes south.

But in this case, there really isn’t a difference between Trump and the Democrat options. That’s the problem. So either way, I would be giving them the vote.

    • nc ✓s & balances

No, sorry. As bad as Trump can be, there is still a difference.

That’s what pisses me off. We get someone like Cruz and everyone runs away from him, after begging for someone like him over the last few years.

…your ass must get jealous over the [email protected]! that spews from your mouth…
…Then again … like ur profile pic.. won won won….won Charlie Brown!

Thanks for liking my pic, anyways.

  • AskmewhyIleftCA

yes, I bloviated. Cruz has been a model crusader. Thanks for the reminder.Would like it even better if there were results attached though. I was thinking of the other 500 or so weasels.

  • AskmewhyIleftCA

yes, I bloviated. That was a great victory in putting ACA into death spiral. Thanks for the reminder. I was thinking of the other 500 or so weasels.

We’ll have to agree to disagree on whether the rest of Congress, many of whom voted with Rubio on eliminating the risk corridors, fought HARD against Obamacare in the first place, protected our 2nd Amendment rights against attacks from Obama and the left when they were the minority party in both houses and far too many issues to list here.
IMO the problem is that conservative punditry has gotten so used to being in attack mode that they can’t accept victories, even small ones, when we get them. The fact that Paul Ryan……. PAUL FREAKING RYAN…. is now Speaker of the House is not good enough. Suddenly, the champion of limited government and fiscal responsibility THE best policy wonk outside of Bobby Jindal* is being called a RINO. By people who support Donald Trump, either openly or by making stupid claims about “He fights” or some such nonsense.
*Bobby Jindal is a GENIUS on healthcare reform and other issues but couldn’t gain traction because none of the conservative pundits were even discussing his positions, online or on the radio. They were too busy pushing Trump.
Same with Rick Perry (who actually WON the ‘border wars’ in Texas!).
Those that did that will never regain my trust or respect. I’ve stopped listening to them or reading their words. We’re winning, in large part due to them and now they might not know what to do with themselves, but I have a nation to help save. They’re on their own.

This Cheri woman is nuts. If you make one comment on her Twitter that doesn’t agree with her, even if not rude, she brands you a Trump cult member and blocks you. Is someone actually paying this woman and taking her seriously???
