GOP front-runner Donald Trump took to Twitter last night to slam the New Hampshire Union Leader saying the paper was “demanding ads” from his campaign:
Do you believe that @UnionLeader in NH was demanding ads? Look at enclosed letter from them, just received: https://t.co/NucdHBZAH9
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 6, 2016
On Facebook Trump added that the paper was also “Desperate, stupid & unethical!”:
But here’s the actual letter Trump received. They’re asking (not demanding) if he wants to run ads in a special edition for the New Hampshire Primary:
He posted again on the subject this morning with “demanding” now changed to “asking”:
The failing @UnionLeader newspaper in N.H. just sent The Trump Organization a letter asking that we take ads. How stupid, how desperate!

Exit question: What would have been Trump’s reaction if the paper hadn’t asked him to run ads in their special pre-primary issue?
