Oops.
CBC Radio One host Chris Walker was forced to apologize earlier today after erroneously tweeting that rocker Carlos Santana had died:

I unreservedly apologize for previous tweets regarding Carlos Santana. Wrong to rely on single source, and against CBC policy besides.

And according to Mashable editor Brian Ries, Santanaâs daughter wasnât very happy with Walkerâs sloppy reporting:
âThanks for ruining my day.â â Carlos Santanaâs daughter to Canadian reporter who tweeted false report of his death. https://t.co/DsJlttzqwq

According to Walker, it was a different Carlos Santana:

So rather than say do a quick Google search to see if Santana died, he just tweeted it out there?
