Pope Francis just wrapped up his speech at the White House and surprising no one, he commented on two of America’s hot-button issues: immigration and global warming.
First up, immigration, where Pope Francis remarked on how America is a country “built by” immigrants:

But it’s his talk on global warming that will please liberals the most, especially his use of a quote from Martin Luther King, Jr. to make his case:

Did the Pope ref #MLK while addressing #climatechange? "We have defaulted on our promissory note and now is the time to honor it" #PopeInDC

And the two will continue to talk about global warming during a chat in the White House later today:
Climate change will be "a very big part of the conversation" with the pope in the Oval Office. — @MajorCBS on @pontifex meeting with @POTUS

Maybe Pope Francis and President Obama should talk a little more about ISIS, however, as Islamic extremism seems to be a more pressing problem than a few degrees of warming over the next few centuries:
Islamic State slaughters Christians, hundreds of thousands are fleeing Syria, and Obama and Pope agree on our true threat: climate change.
