State-run media in Turkey is reporting that four individuals suspected of human trafficking have been detained over the death of 3-year-old Alan Kudri and 11 other refugees who drowned while attempting to flee Syria for Turkey earlier this week:

The Anadolu Agency says the four, including a Syrian national, were being questioned Friday by a court in the Turkish resort town of Bodrum.
The 12 who drowned included the 3-year-old Syrian boy Alan Kurdi, whose haunting image highlighted the plight of migrants.
He died along with 5-year-old brother and their mother when their small rubber boat capsized as it headed for Greece.
Little Alan and his brother and mother were buried today back in his hometown of Kobane:
