Breaking news out of Kentucky where we’re seeing reports that Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis has been held in contempt of court and taken into custody for refusing a court order to issue marriage certificates to gay couples:
Update 2. From the Indianapolis Star:
U.S. Judge David Bunning found Rowan County clerk Kim Davis in contempt. She was escorted out of the courtroom and remanded into the custody of a federal marshal. The judge says she can be released as soon as she is willing to comply.
