As we told you earlier, President Obama, citing a Department of Interior ruling, changed the name of Mt. McKinley to Denali, delighting Alaska lawmakers who had been lobbying for the name change for years.

But this doesn’t mean everyone is happy.

Ohio Senator Rob Portman lashed out at President Obama after the news broke that North America’s tallest peak would no longer be named after Ohio native McKinley, hitting the president for “going around congress” and asking that some other major geographic feature in Denali park bare his name:
