In case you missed it, over the weekend we posted about U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell (Dem, CA-15) and his less-than-sciencey method of proving global warming is real — his car’s thermometer:

Notice the timestamp on that tweet? It’s from August 16 at 7:58 p.m.

The apocalyptic temperatures in Northern California, however, didn’t stop Rep. Swalwell from engaging his constituents during an outdoor town hall meeting earlier in the day:

It’s really amazing how Rep. Swalwell and his voters were able to adapt so quickly to the warming climate. Maybe there’s hope for humanity yet?

And, of course, Rep. Swalwell is all for California’s global warming when it’s too cold in D.C.:
