California attorney and Army veteran Kurt Schlichter has an idea for Donald Trump to win Thursday’s GOP debate in Cleveland, and it’s a good one.
Schlichter — who isn’t a Trump supporter — thinks the Donald should announce on stage that he’ll bankroll and offer legal assistance to the Center for Medical Progress as it is now forced to defend itself against Planned Parenthood in court:
Besides the ability to literally say anything without accountability, there’s another trump card in The Donald’s deck that ought to have the other 432 Republican candidates quaking in their loafers. I’m not a Trumpster, and I’m not normally in the habit of helping people who voted for Barack Obama and gave money to Hillary Clinton, but the other potential nominees need to be ready for Trump to drop a bomb that would make the mullahs drool with jealousy.
Here’s what he needs to say:
“In the last few weeks, we’ve seen videos that show Planned Parenthood for what it really is, a butcher shop pretending to help women. And then we’ve seen the liberal establishment run into court to stop the truth from coming out. Well, that’s why I am taking one million dollars of my own money, and matching your donations up to another million, to put my crack legal team on the case to defend the Center for Medical Progress in any court, anywhere, so the truth can keep coming out and we can defund Planned Parenthood!”
Oh, my. That could work, no? Hello nomination?!?
We shall see if Donald takes the advice, but he did come out yesterday in favor of shutting down the government in order to defund Planned Parenthood:
Hey, the million bucks to the CMP legal fund is a lot cheaper than campaign ads, and the exposure would be better, especially since Donald was once pro-choice:
